in September 2022, my mother was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer. After the worst weekend of my life, I decided to take a proactive approach to the matter. I probably searched the entire Internet, together we visited dozens of offices, queues and doctors. We set out on a crazy mission to get to impossible-to-organize visits and look for contacts with inaccessible specialists. The result: targeted chemotherapy, which initially brought good results.

For me, my mother is a person who deserves all the time and all the money in the world. She is a wise, kind woman, a wonderful and attentive interlocutor, Hesia's grandmother, and she has a wonderful sense of humor that persists even now, when it turns out that the previous forms of treatment have failed. Recently she joked that if something happened to her, her husband Krzysztof wouldn't notice that she was gone from home, just as he didn't notice the big blue roller in her hair when he took her to work.

We don't want anything to happen to her...

My mother is most worried about her 2-year-old granddaughter, whom she loves no less than me, and every year she gets to enjoy her is worth her weight in gold.
