Dream:
In March, I found out about my diagnosis – grade III glioma. On the night of March 18-19, I had the first epileptic attack in my life. I didn't have any disturbing symptoms before. That night I went to the hospital and after a series of tests I received this devastating diagnosis. A month after the diagnosis, I underwent surgery, and this week I had a consultation - I was offered chemotherapy and radiotherapy. However, I do not intend to limit myself only to systemic treatment. I want to look for different forms of treatment in Poland and abroad.
The news about the disease was sudden and shocking. I have always taken care of my health through nutrition, physical activity, mental hygiene and personal development. I love languages, music is my passion - I want to share all this with my almost one-year-old daughter, whom I love more than life itself. The disease has put a big question mark and I am afraid for the future.
I really want to get back to health so that I can spend as much time as possible with my daughter, but I know that without implementing innovative treatment methods, returning to normality will be impossible. All this involves huge costs - supportive treatment, travel, possible re-operations, consultations with specialists.
I'm at the beginning of my journey of dealing with the disease, so I don't know what awaits me, but I want to be prepared for various scenarios. I have numerous consultations ahead of me, also in centers outside Poland, the average cost of which is 900 Euro for the consultation alone. I will do everything possible just to be close to my daughter as long as possible.
I'm asking for your support!
