My history of cancer began in 2019 during a check-up visit to the gynecologist. Within a year, between the first and second visit to the doctor, a lesion appeared, which was later diagnosed as Serous ovarian cancer. Shortly thereafter, surgery was performed and then chemotherapy was initiated. I endured the first stages of treatment hard - muscle pain, disorganization of everyday life, change in appearance - all this resulted in a general decrease in well-being and physical weakness. After the treatment, stabilization occurred and lasted for about a year.

In 2021, a recurrence occurred in the abdominal wall, so I had to undergo another cycle of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, during this stage of treatment, there were huge skin problems and mouth ulcers, which made eating and everyday life very difficult. The health situation calmed down again for some time. Unfortunately, in January 2023, another recurrence was diagnosed, this time in the liver. I am currently undergoing the third chemotherapy, which was recently interrupted due to the weakening of my body and poor blood test results. I need to regenerate, rest. Here, supportive treatment that strengthens my body provides me with great support and hope. Thanks to this, I can gain strength and prepare my body for the next stages of chemotherapy treatment. Unfortunately, this treatment is not reimbursed and its costs are very high and beyond my financial capabilities. In addition, there are frequent visits to specialists, a special diet and preparations that support my treatment.

The disease made me pay attention to a proper diet, I try to be active, exercise and read a lot about oncology. My family is an incredible support for me. I also try to be active professionally, and here I also enjoy great support from my friends.

My dream is to die of old age. I know that I can't cure myself 100%, but I would like to cure the disease enough to be able to function well on a daily basis, play with my grandchildren and enjoy life.
