My disease started in March 2022. Its first symptom was epigastric pain.
Therefore, I went to many doctor's visits and performed many tests, but the results were often unclear. An 8.5 cm tumor was detected in the tail and body of the pancreas. An EUS examination was recommended and this is where the "stairs" began. The first time the test gave an inconclusive result. On our own, my wife and I went to Cieszyn with a sample taken to have it tested again. Unfortunately, the result was again inconclusive. We have wasted a lot of valuable time, which is very important in the case of cancer, on repeated tests. We had to find another facility that would perform this test again, and we were pressed for time. Along the way, I had consultations with several professors and a stay in hospital.
In the end, the result was clear - malignant pancreatic cancer (adenocarcinoma) with liver metastasis. Currently inoperable.
I started taking chemotherapy in August 2022, to which I commute with my wife. The first chemotherapy was palliative, after several infusions the chemotherapy was changed to therapeutic. Unfortunately, it did not stop the progression of the disease, so it was changed again.

My goal is to continue participating in the treatment to reduce the size of the tumor and, consequently, to be able to perform surgery.
My desire is to regain health. I dream of devoting myself to my family (my wife, children and grandchildren). I would like to experience many more moments of happiness and fun with them.
