Dream:
Cancer has been an unwanted part of my life since 2013, although at that time I did not realize that lump in the breast will begin my nearly 9-year fight for health. I started treatment with radiotherapy and also underwent partial breast removal.
2019 brought new fears and even greater disappointment. The disease persisted, ultrasound showed metastases to axillary lymph nodes. It was necessary to implement chemotherapy, which, although it destroyed the metastases, did not reduce the tumor in the breast. At that point, the only response to the disease was mastectomy. This radical step, however, did not bring the expected results, in 2021 tumors will appearThey started appearing under my other armpit. The current results are alarming, especially thanks to expansion of tumors into the lungs.
My treatment involves a number of new challenges and difficult decisions. I know that I may have to undergo surgery to remove the other breast and molecular immunotherapy. I want to have control over my treatment process. The memory of complications after chemotherapy motivates me to look for new solutions, even if they involve high costs. The disease itself is a taxing experience, which is why I don't want it again
experience the same side effects: decreased immunity, inflammation of the intervertebral disc, difficulty moving.
Years of struggle have allowed me to get to know my body, which is why I am sure that the foundation of good treatment should be strengthening the immune system. In this case, infusions would be effective, the one-time cost of which is as much as PLN 1,000. I had the opportunity to see how they work on my own example - the improvement in my condition that I immediately felt gave me hope that there are ways to get out of this situation, even if it seems extremely hopeless.
The disease is undoubtedly a traumatic and painful experience, but I managed to draw some important positives from it. The feeling of uncertainty and transience of health made me even more convinced that I love life, I love people, I love every memory related to my work as a teacher. I transformed my fears into strength, I allowed hope to guide me on my path to health,
faith and dreams. Struggling with cancer allowed me to understand the fears that plague people with the disease - I want to share this experience and help them overcome the fears that cancer patients face every day. I dream of completing psycho-oncology, becoming a volunteer in a hospice, turning my knowledge into something productive - bringing at least a moment of comfort to people who
As a result of the disease, it is difficult to find reasons for optimism in everyday life. I believe in human selflessness, and my faith in people is strengthened by the people I have met along the way. I also know that there are still many good things waiting for me in life - I still have a long road ahead of me, but with your support I will be able to get through it with motivation and hope.
