We are happy to inform you that Bartek's situation is stable. He has check-ups every 3 months. He continues rehabilitation, but now walks without crutches. He also went back to school!



Update of 14/09/2020

Bartek successfully completed treatment and now faces rehabilitation. Recovery is still a long way, very bumpy in places, but day by day Bartek is getting closer to his goal. His hair is slowly starting to grow back - this is visual proof of positive changes!



Dream:

Our son, Bartek, is 7 years old. Until recently, he was an active player of the AP Szczecinek football team. Unexpectedly, his adventure with football was interrupted by illness.
In December 2019, we learned the diagnosis - osteosarcoma osteosarcoma G3.
Since January 2020, my son and I have been fighting a rare bone cancer. We have a long road ahead of us, full of pain and sacrifices. We believe that at the end there is recovery.
 
Bartek doesn't ask the question "why me?" He just wants to know when we will heal his leg and he will be able to return to training. He has a long period of treatment, surgery and rehabilitation ahead of him.
We will do everything in our power to minimize the physical and mental effects this nasty and insidious disease will have on our son.
