I would love to win the fight against the disease and live. I have two little daughters, one is 5 years old and the other is not even a year old. I love them very much, they give me a lot of strength to fight the disease. Cancer can be beaten, but the costs of treatment and recovery are often the biggest obstacle.

I was diagnosed in December malignant tumor of the esophagus. I am currently resting after radiochemotherapy. I am waiting for surgery to remove the esophagus or a significant part of it. After the current treatment, I feel bad: I have dizziness, nausea and severe pain. Doctors recommended the use of morphine and fentanyl patches, but sometimes even this does not help. Additionally, I am ordered to consume Nutridrink Protein etc. (minimum four bottles a day), unfortunately these products are not refunded.

Some medicines are covered by reimbursement, but I am also prescribed some for which I have to pay 100%, although they are not cheap. In addition, after chemotherapy, I had a problem with my teeth, even though I had rarely had dental cavities before. Visits to the dentist are a huge burden on my budget. I also have to replace at least some of my clothes because I lost 26 kg during the treatment. Further costs are generated by private visits to doctors and travel to these facilities. I do not want to use only the treatment offered by the National Health Fund, I am overwhelmed by huge queues, and time is not my ally in the fight against this disease. My wife has to help me with many activities because I can't cope on my own.

Cancer is parasitic on my health and my finances, depriving me of the opportunities thanks to which I could effectively oppose it. Due to cancer, I cannot work at the moment, which means our financial situation is not good. I am asking with all my heart for help in the fight against this nasty disease.
