Ola is feeling good. After repeated blood transfusions, the results finally stabilized and the platelet count was satisfactory. There is no need for treatment with Prevymis for now. Ola feels good and, as best she can, she simply celebrates everyday life with her family.

That's why we increase the collection amount and collect for the next package. We remind you that the cost of treatment is 21 732 PLN per month! The doctor will decide on subsequent administration of the drug based on the body's reaction. We will further increase our fundraising target if necessary.

After the transplant, Ola is exposed to various viral infections, one of them is cytomegalovirus (CMV). Infections may recur and are very dangerous, which is why doctors recommend prevymis. Unfortunately, in Ola's case, the drug is not reimbursed - its cost is PLN 21,732 per package.

Ola has been in hospital for 5 weeks. She had a transplant 16 days ago. He feels good and is slowly regaining his strength. The test results are positive, keep it up!

Ola is scheduled for a transplant in about 3 weeks. Everything is on track - cells have already been collected from the donor. The risk of the body rejecting the transplant is high, so we keep our fingers crossed for success.

Ola is still undergoing chemotherapy. We are waiting for the results of further tests that will show the effects of the current treatment.

In December 2018, Ola had a transplant. After a CT scan in February 2019, Ola started taking a new drug. Unfortunately, complications began after 4 doses. Currently, Ola is undergoing hematological treatment. You will probably need a transplant from a donor.

DREAM:

The birth of our son was a bittersweet time for us. On the one hand, there is great joy at the birth of our second treasure. On the other hand, 2 weeks later I was diagnosed with "Hodgkin's lymphoma„.

I put all my energy into treatment. I live for my husband and my two wonderful children. For several years now, I have been getting up every morning thinking that I have to be with them as long as possible. No matter where, the important thing is to be together. I love these moments when we are alone, just the four of us and nothing else.

Each year, each month is a great gift to me. I work hard for it, undergoing treatment and looking for new solutions both in Poland and abroad. I am taking chemotherapy, the doctor is still adapting the drugs to the body's reaction. The treatment is only partially reimbursed. The costs of subsequent tests, visits to specialists and medications are a huge financial burden for us, which we are unable to cope with on our own.
