For me, living with cancer is a cycle of sacrifices, fear, but also increased fortitude, thanks to which I not only accept this new reality, but also fight - for myself, for my health, for my family, for my dreams to come true.

The moment I found out that I had triple negative breast cancer, I knew I had to find my way around the situation, act quickly and look for solutions. My disease required quick chemotherapy in the standard regimen (4 red and 12 white) and surgery (mastectomy with total reconstruction).

The treatment, although necessary, was a culmination of painful moments. The side effects of red chemotherapy were expressed in severe neuropathy. Everyday life became hazy - even moving around was a huge challenge. Due to my condition, the amount of chemotherapy was reduced. However, radiotherapy turned out to be another burden - the 28 fractions that I had to take exhausted my body.

Currently, I am struggling with both the disease and the side effects of the treatment. Due to significant nerve paralysis in the sole of my foot, I have to take medications to relieve the pressure on the nerves in my limbs. I believe that the fight against such an aggressive disease should involve a holistic approach, which is why I use every option and every opportunity to gain the advantage. I support myself, among other things, with diet, private consultations (which allow me to react as quickly as possible) and rehabilitation, which reduces injuries resulting from the disease (including overloading the shoulder girdle).

I can't imagine giving up the fight, giving up or abandoning myself to fate. The faces of my loved ones are the best motivation to act. The disease has also become a source of life affirmation for me, thanks to which I find the sincerest joy in inconspicuous moments and experiences. I believe that I will be able to recover and continue to celebrate life, enjoy family happiness, take an active part in the life of my 16-year-old son, and maybe even fly on a plane.
