The diagnosis I received in 2018 was the third one in my life. In 1990, I first heard the word "cancer" in my context from doctors. After long treatment and various turmoil in my private life, I was finally supposed to have time for myself. I have adult children, I wanted to take care of myself and enjoy life, but unfortunately it was then that cancer turned everything upside down again.

In 2018 I was diagnosed breast cancer. I underwent standard treatment - chemotherapy, radiation, mastectomy, removal of lymph nodes. Everything seemed to be on track, unfortunately in 2020 they appeared metastases – to the lungs, bones, spleen and liver. There were 23 tumors on the liver alone… The disease not only returned, but attacked very aggressively. Chemotherapy was needed again, and doctors also recommended hormone therapy. Currently, I have already undergone 2 courses of hormone treatment, which unfortunately did not bring any results, so another change of medication is planned from February.

When the metastases appeared, I realized that conventional treatment alone was not enough. I decided to start supportive treatment. The infusions are expensive, but they bring the expected results - metastatic lesions in the bones are stable, some other lesions have decreased. Currently, the disease wreaks the greatest havoc in the liver, so continued treatment is very important.

Despite my illness, I still work professionally - without it I would have nothing to live on, but unfortunately it is not enough to cover all my expenses. I also do everything I can to strengthen my body - I have introduced a proper diet, I take supplements, I focus on positive thinking, I exercise regularly. With all my heart I would just like to live. I know I'm on the right track, I feel like I'll be healthy. I just need help in collecting funds for treatment, because I won't be able to cope with the expenses on my own.
