My dream is to fully recover and then return to work. Before my illness, I often supported various collections for seriously ill people and I hope that being in such a situation now, I will also experience the generosity of other people.

DREAM:

In 2019, while serving as the president of the management board in a corporation, I began to notice disturbing symptoms such as: forgetting words and difficulty understanding the content of corporate projects, which I had not had a problem with before.
I am convinced that these symptoms contributed to the termination of my contract, and in fact, the growing a brain tumor it was almost certain that he was the cause of this.

In 2020, we lived on savings while searching for answers why they occur in my case
symptoms described above. Doctors tended to believe that my mental condition resulted from the loss of my job. At the end of 2020, symptoms worsened. I had serious memory problems, e.g. I couldn't remember my children's birthdays, no. your car's registration number and all your credit card pins.
The MRI showed a large tumor in the right temporal lobe. Other symptoms also appeared, such as shuffling of the left leg, drooping of the left side of the face and excessive sleepiness. The tumor was completely removed, but the histopathological examination results indicated the diagnosis a highly malignant glioma-type tumor. We decided to verify the histopathological examination in a private neuropathology clinic in Bonn, Germany.

My cancer was found to be a different type than previously classified: it was highly malignant primary sarcoma of the phelomorphic sarcoma type. Your doctor described this type of cancer as extremely rare (with an incidence of 1 in a million).
I was then placed on 6 weeks of media-assisted photon radiotherapy
steroids. After completing radiotherapy and steroid therapy, I experienced side effects:
dizziness, steroid-induced diabetes and steroid-induced arthritis.

Additionally, at the end of September 2022. another MRI showed tumor recurrence and it was decided that another surgery would be the best solution. Until January 9, 2023 my condition was stable, but that's when the MRI showed another recurrence. A week later I had a seizure which resulted in me being taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
After leaving the hospital, I was sent to palliative chemotherapy and, before that, to the Gamma Knife procedure. After undergoing one chemotherapy session in March, I developed severe bilateral pneumonia and was hospitalized for almost 2 weeks. On March 30, I underwent another MRI to verify the effectiveness of the gamma knife treatment and chemotherapy session. Unfortunately, it showed significant progression of recurrence, so another surgery was necessary.

Currently, my attending physician notices some persistent deficits, such as short-term ones
memory loss and left hand paresis. Therefore, it is necessary to undertake comprehensive psychomotor rehabilitation immediately. The best place to undergo it is the clinic in Bonn, Germany.
Currently living on a pension and my wife's teacher's salary, I am unable to cover her costs, which are estimated at approximately EUR 90,000.
I am a cheerful person with an optimistic attitude to life. I like people and animals (we have three dogs). My dream is to fully recover and then return to work. Before my illness, I often supported various collections for seriously ill people and I hope that being in such a situation now, I will also experience the generosity of other people.
