In November 2022, I heard a diagnosis that changed my life forever – ovarian cancer, Stage IV of advancement, inoperable tumor. I started chemotherapy, went through three cycles and then had surgery, during which 104 tumor blocks were excised. After the surgery, I continued chemical treatment.

Unfortunately, after a year, two small lesions appeared on the liver, which had to be surgically removed. Then I underwent chemotherapy again. After another twelve months, unfortunately, the lesions appeared again, this time inside the liver. I underwent radiation in Poznań, which brought positive results.

Two months ago, however, I found out that the disease was progressing again – I had some metastases to the lungs and lymph nodes. I started another chemotherapy, but after three cycles the liver stopped responding to treatment.

My only chance now is to go to Israel, where modern therapies and medicines are available, which give me hope of extending my life by a few years. I am a mother and grandmother, I have five beloved grandchildren: Urszula, Basia, Krzysia, Pawełek and Klara, who is one and a half years old. I dream of being able to be with them as long as possible, to see them grow up and help them enter adult life.

The costs of treatment, therapy and travel to Israel are enormous, and unfortunately they are my only hope. That is why I am asking for help. Every, even the smallest payment, brings me closer to my chance for a further life.
