At the end of 2020, I started experiencing severe abdominal pain. The doctor said it was an irritable bowel. Treatment and diet involved increased expenses, but I had no other choice.

Unfortunately, the pain did not go away, so I continued to look for the cause. I was referred for a colonoscopy, which turned out to be a nightmare for me. The pain was incredibly strong despite 2 anesthesia treatments. After this examination, I began to lose strength. I didn't know what was happening to me. Eventually, a regular ultrasound revealed some sort of blister or cyst. Then everything happened very quickly. The gynecologist sent me for tumor markers. I had an operation in Lublin, after which everything was clear - disseminated ovarian cancer. During the operation, the doctors only managed to unblock the ducts and cut out adhesions. The cancerous tumors could not be removed because everything was spread.

I started chemotherapy. I only had the second one, but I had a hard time taking it - fever, infections. The lymph nodes are so enlarged that they make it difficult to speak.

I don't know how to continue with all the expenses. I am unemployed, I do not have a pension. I currently live with my children on social security benefits. I have a carer from OPS and a nurse. Traveling to chemotherapy, medications, supplements, proper diet - all this involves costs. So far, I can count on the support of good people around me, but I don't know how long I will be able to function like this. That's why I'm asking for support, I can't cope with the increased expenses caused by the disease on my own.
