UPDATES:

Updated on February 9, 2022

Palliative treatment continues, I am undergoing chemotherapy. Unfortunately, my body is already under a lot of stress, which means my immunity is low. Recently I had two infections, I needed antibiotics, which, as we know, also weaken the body. That's why I support myself with supplements, treatments and a carefully selected diet. I see that these actions bring great results, because compared to my friends undergoing chemotherapy, I feel better and have more strength. I also care about having a positive mental attitude. I focus on what is good, I try to live actively to the best of my abilities and, above all, I do not lose hope.

Unfortunately, all the costs associated with treatment are a huge burden for us. I can't go back to work, so my husband is doing what he can. We have already exhausted all financial possibilities and that is why I must ask for support.

DREAM:

My husband and I live in Gdynia. We love motorcycle trips, we have already visited Italy and Polish mountains. We planned to move to the countryside one day, escape from the city to peace and quiet. The children have already "fled" the house, but now, when my husband and I finally have time to fulfill our plans, unfortunately I have fallen ill.

My whole life has revolved around caring for someone. Professionally, I worked with children up to the age of 3, apart from mine, they were, are and will be part of my family. At home always min. two dogs, so I'm used to taking care of others. Always someone, never yourself.

The disease, as usual, came unexpectedly. In January, I underwent thyroid treatment (Hashimoto's disease), I went on a ketogenic diet, which made me lose a lot of weight, and in April I discovered a lump in my breast. Standard tests were normal, but ultrasound and biopsies confirmed the diagnosis - metastatic breast cancer. I was told that I should take care of my affairs and settle my obligations. But I am a tough woman, stubborn, I decided not to give up. Despite the troublesome side effects of chemotherapy - I do not take painkillers so as not to burden the liver, I take care of my diet, take supplements, and use treatments to strengthen my body.

And yes, it can be difficult, I sometimes had to crawl to the bathroom in pain. But I know that it's temporary, that it just has to pass - and it will get better! I just sleep through the worst times and gather my strength. I listen to empowering content, I arrange it in my head, I know that attitude is more than half of the success. After all, a fish rots from the head - so does a person!

Sometimes I think that this disease is a gift - so far I have lived in a huge rush, chasing everything unnecessarily, I couldn't appreciate the little things, the present moment. Today I enjoy everything, even when it rains, even when it's cold. I am happy that I feel that I am alive, that I am experiencing. That I am. The disease teaches that every day is important, each day must be fully felt and experienced.

My dream is to have grandchildren. I know I can do it, it's only a matter of time :)

Recent tests have shown that the tumors have shrunk, so my strategy is working! I just need support to be able to constantly supplement and strengthen my body.

I will be very grateful if you support me on this path.
