Since 2020, I have been fighting an unequal fight against... ovarian cancer. In March 2020, I had a stomach ache, bloating and low-grade fever. Unfortunately, the pandemic has severely limited access to doctors. I treated myself with paracetamol for some time. The symptoms kept coming back, so I finally went to the doctor privately for ultrasound and CT scans. It turned out that the ovary was already spread throughout the abdominal cavity. I couldn't believe it, because I had regular check-ups, and in 2019 I visited the gynecologist four times, the last time in December 2019. After a 10-hour surgery, it turned out that it was malignant ovarian cancer in stage III with metastases to the abdominal cavity. The doctor said that another month and there would be no surgery...

It was a cruel diagnosis, but I got up and have been fighting for four years. During this time, I underwent numerous chemotherapy treatments, surgeries and blood transfusions - everything to survive. Currently, the last resort is treatment using innovative methods outside the country. For this I need urgent financial support. The current treatment does not work, the disease is progressing, and I have less and less strength to fight.

There was a chance for treatment abroad. I am currently being diagnosed by centers in Israel, where I have a chance to have access to these treatment methods. There has already been a consultation and a video conference, and now I am waiting for a trip to Israel for genetic tests. The cost of the diagnostics itself is approximately EUR 10,000. Based on it, I can get recommendations for further treatment.

The costs are huge and time is against us. I want to enjoy my wonderful grandchildren and be close to my family for as long as possible. I would like to ask you to donate, every zloty counts!
