DREAM:

In June 2023, during a routine ultrasound examination, changes in my liver were detected. I heard the diagnosis - malignant melanoma in the stage of distant dissemination – tumors in the liver, right lung and affected lymph nodes.

Over the past 5 months, I have taken two different immune therapies that have proven to be ineffective. I am currently undergoing treatment with inhibitors, which give us a little more time to find a new, effective therapy abroad. Earlier this year, metastases to the spine caused a fracture in the thoracic spine, I was paralyzed from the waist down. I underwent surgery to stabilize a broken vertebra, spinal decompression and radiotherapy. I regained feeling and use of my legs, but I need long and expensive rehabilitation. The procedure itself was associated with many serious complications that put a heavy burden on my body.

I am collecting money for rehabilitation equipment and specialist classes that are supposed to strengthen my legs and lead to greater independence. I believe that I will be able to stand on my own feet again.
Apart from rehabilitation, a specialized diet is very important to me to help fight cancer, but its cost is also high. Additional expenses also involve adapting my apartment so that I can function as normally as possible and be independent.

I am motivated to act by my wonderful wife Agnieszka and my unique son Ludwik. Dreams do come true, and with your help, mine can come true too, to stand on my own feet again and focus on fighting cancer.
