DREAM:

In September 2023, I received the biopsy result - it was found to be inoperable malignant breast cancer, which unfortunately gave metastases to the spine. To stay fit, I had to undergo surgery. I was very lucky to find great doctors, thanks to whom I can now move on my own, although slower, but I can still walk.

My oncological treatment involves taking oral medications, with varying degrees of success. The first one unfortunately caused liver damage (fortunately reversible), but now I am taking the second preparation. As for my well-being, I feel like most people with this disease. I try to stay positive despite difficulties and enjoy every sign of normality. 

Currently, my life looks completely different. Professional work had to be put aside because I regularly have to travel to an oncology center 130 km away from my place of residence. I have two children: a 12-year-old daughter who is just entering puberty, so she needs my support and attention. My 16-year-old son, who has Down syndrome, is my daily joy, calling me "Beatko" and expressing his love to me. Moments like these make it easier for me to face the disease.

Specialists offer me various options to strengthen the body and support basic treatment. However, to be able to use them, I need significant financial assistance. 

That's why I'm grateful for every gesture of support, because I need it more than ever to be able to effectively face the disease and hope for a better tomorrow.
