My name is Aleksandra. Until recently, I led a normal, peaceful life. Everything changed in 2022 when I was diagnosed with the most malignant, extremely aggressive and rapidly spreading, triple negative breast cancer. The diagnosis came as a surprise to me, but I immediately took every step towards recovery.

I underwent chemotherapy and a mastectomy of my breasts and lymph nodes. Unfortunately, it soon turned out that it had metastasized to the spine and lungs. Therefore, I received complementary chemotherapy in tablets, which gives no chance of cure. Despite this terrible prospect, the doctors gave me hope, which I held onto tightly. My chance is immunotherapy, which will significantly reduce the risk of disease recurrence and metastases. Unfortunately, it is not refundable. The costs of therapy are huge: the cost of one infusion, which must be repeated every three weeks for about 2 years, is PLN 12,000. These amounts exceed my financial capabilities.

I want to win this fight for my children and support them in their life choices and be happy for them.
