The year 2024 was full of challenges, intensive work and significant successes for our Foundation \ud83c\udf1f This is the time when we showed how important cancer prevention is and how much we can achieve thanks to cooperation with companies, organizations and individuals \ud83e\udd1d\ud83d\udcaa<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the program #PrfiRAKtyka<\/strong> We visited 51 locations throughout Poland, covering 7409.5 km - a distance longer than from Warsaw to New York \ud83c\udf0d\u2708\ufe0f and almost equal to the route to Seoul \ud83d\ude2f\ud83c\uddf0\ud83c\uddf7 During these trips, we organized as many as 18 prevention stations, 19 lectures and webinars, as well as 7 workshop groups and 2 holistic workshops, during which participants could learn how to take care of their health and what habits help reduce the risk of cancer \ud83e\ude7a\ud83c\udf4e<\/p>\n\n\n\n This year has also shown how many companies see the importance of preventive healthcare as an element of taking care of their employees \ud83c\udfe2\u2764\ufe0f To the program #OnkoCommitted<\/strong>, based on employee contributions, was joined by 15 companies that actively support our activities \ud83d\ude4c We also organized 2 sports challenges together, encouraging movement as an important element of a healthy lifestyle \ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2640\ufe0f\ud83c\udfcb\ufe0f\u200d\u2642\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n\n\n We also did not forget about the younger generation \ud83d\udc67\ud83d\udc66 As part of the ProfiRAKtyka initiative, we visited 8 universities and 1 primary school in schools, where we educated children and young adults about prevention and self-examination \ud83d\udcdd\ud83d\udc69\u200d\u2695\ufe0f We also carried out 24 events for non-governmental organizations, rural women's associations and associations, spreading knowledge and inspiring action \ud83c\udf31<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2024, we organized an event in Wilkowice for the first time, which started a new chapter of our activity \ud83c\udf89 We also carried out activities in hospitals - as part of the "Virtual Journeys" project, we reached 3 facilities, introducing innovative methods of supporting oncology patients, especially the youngest ones \ud83d\udcbb\ud83e\uddf8<\/p>\n\n\n\n The holiday season was a special moment for us \ud83c\udf84\ud83c\udf81 Thanks to the generosity of our Partners, we managed to prepare about 110 packages for children and young people as part of the "Letters to Santa Claus" campaign, and also to deliver 80 packages to patients of the Oncology and Hematology Departments at the hospital on Banacha \ud83c\udfe5\ud83c\udf85 Additionally, we gave 16 packages with hygiene products, cleaning agents and food products to people in difficult life situations \ud83d\udecd\ufe0f\ud83c\udf7d\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n\n\n There was also no shortage of volunteering activities - in 2024, 4 actions were held, during which pillows, turbans and key rings were sewn \ud83e\uddf5\u2764\ufe0f Our activity was also appreciated on a wider forum - with the award of the ProfiRAKtyka initiative from Globalworth \ud83c\udfc6\ud83c\udf0d<\/p>\n\n\n\n We ended the year proudly, having already organized more editions of events, such as charity concerts \ud83c\udfb6, as well as many collaborations with companies and organizations that believe that health prevention is an investment in the future \ud83d\udca1\ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n\n\n\n We would like to thank everyone who was with us and together we built
