My name is Wanda, I am 61 years old. Unfortunately, in May 2023, my life turned upside down when I heard the diagnosis: clear cell ovarian cancer<\/strong>. From that moment on, my difficult fight for health and life began.<\/p>\n

In just 1.5 years, I underwent three surgeries and five cycles of chemotherapy with cisplatin and paclitaxel, supported by bevacizumab. Unfortunately, the treatment brought many side effects, and its effects were not what we all expected. In August 2024, another surgery was necessary, during which a lesion in the pelvis was removed.<\/p>\n

Currently, the only chance to continue treatment is immunotherapy with Keytruda (Pembrolizumab)<\/strong>. This therapy gives me hope for a better tomorrow, but unfortunately in Poland the treatment of ovarian cancer with this drug is not reimbursed. The therapy lasts about two years - an infusion every three weeks, and the cost of one cycle is 16,000 PLN<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

I am doing everything in my power to recover and get back to my former fitness. My biggest dream is to enjoy life and everyday life again<\/strong>, meetings with loved ones and everything that once took place for granted to me.<\/p>\n

That is why I wholeheartedly ask for support that will allow me to continue treatment. Every help, every smallest payment gives me a chance to continue fighting and a lot of hope.<\/p>\n
