My life changed when I was 18 and learned that I had stage IV glioma, one of the most severe and deadly forms of cancer. It is a disease that is difficult to cure and leaves its mark on you for life.<\/strong><\/p>\n So far I have had two surgeries, radiotherapy and I am currently undergoing my second chemotherapy. I have been very lucky \u2013 all stages of treatment so far have been without complications and serious side effects. However, to increase the chance of a full recovery, I have to use the modern Optune Gio device from Novocure.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, in Poland, therapy with this device is not reimbursed, so I had to start treatment at a clinic in Vienna.<\/strong> The cost of renting the device is huge \u2013 about 26 thousand euros per month, and the therapy should last two years.<\/strong> The total cost of treatment is an astronomical sum that exceeds my family's financial capabilities.<\/p>\n Optune Gio works by inhibiting the division of cancer cells, which significantly increases the chances of winning the disease. I have been undergoing this therapy since December 12, 2024, but I am afraid that without support I will not be able to collect the funds needed to continue the treatment.<\/p>\n However, I believe that what is impossible to achieve alone can become possible with the help of others. <\/strong>That is why I am asking for your support \u2013 any form of help is of great importance to me.
