The doctor sent me for tests. When I came to him with the results, he said he didn&#039;t see any abnormalities and I was a picture of health. He suggested that maybe I just needed some rest.<br \/>I trusted that I was healthy since the doctor said there was no reason to worry.<\/p>\n<p>In the fall, I decided to go to the doctor again because of the persistent pain.<br \/>I came up with the idea to go for a colonoscopy. I called, made an appointment and there was nothing else to do but wait. The result \u2013 a malignant tumor of the large intestine.<br \/>The diagnosis was a signal for me to take action, I transformed the initial fear into motivation to change my lifestyle and psyche. Cancer leaves no time for hesitation, it calls for action here and now.<br \/>I went to the hospital in Lublin and they scheduled me for surgery.<br \/>I am currently waiting for a consultation and the date of starting chemotherapy. I know that cancer will only be an episode in my life, not the whole story.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the treatment, I will face large expenses that significantly exceed my savings - private visits to specialists, commuting costs, diet, rehabilitation. Therefore, I decided to ask for your support.
