I am a happy person, although not everything in my life turned out as I would have dreamed. Most of the time I also worked as a caregiver for the elderly. A few years ago I was first diagnosed with cancer. I started treatment and managed to return to normal life. Unfortunately in 2018\u00a0<strong>new cancerous lesions appeared on the lungs<\/strong>. I started chemotherapy and what I had hoped I would never experience again came back - the hospital, doctors, drugs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Now I know more than the first time. I understand the disease better, although it does not make it any easier to deal with. This time I also had the courage to ask for help. My partner and I have always lived modestly, but we had enough for our basic needs. However, it is becoming more and more difficult for us. We count every zloty spent on commuting and medicines.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">In my case, it turned out to be one of the side effects of chemotherapy\u00a0<strong>neuropathy<\/strong>. Nerve damage makes it difficult for me to move and perform manual activities.
