I expected everything in life - except cancer. In 2017, life gave me the worst possible surprise when, when I went to the doctor with abdominal and kidney pain, I found out that I was suffering from malignant kidney tumor.<\/strong> This information changed everything. My life changed in an instant, never to return to the carefreeness before the illness.<\/p>\n

I immediately started treatment in Gniezno, interspersed with numerous consultations with specialists in Pozna\u0144. Medicines, commuting, pain - my life began to resemble a nightmare that I could not even imagine. I spent subsequent hours in hospitals, dreaming of finally returning home and cutting myself off from all the misfortunes that befell me one after another.<\/p>\n

After some time, it was necessary to remove the kidney. I even began to believe that this step, although risky and terrifying, would finally end my breakneck journey in the fight against the disease. Unfortunately, I was wrong. After a short time, changes also appeared on the second kidney. Moreover, in 2018 I learned that my unwanted tenant not only did not withdraw - on the contrary, he spread out to such an extent that since then I have also had to deal with prostate cancer. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the pain was becoming almost unbearable. After the kidney was removed, I suffered from constant abdominal pain, tensile dysfunction, and even more and more visible memory problems. The pandemic was a particularly difficult period in my treatment. Due to limited access to doctors, I felt cut off from any help and support.<\/p>\n

I am currently taking injections that keep me alive. I also take medications which, unfortunately, are only partially reimbursed. The thought that my life depends on these drugs and the money I spend on them terrifies me.<\/p>\n

I'm tired of the constant fighting that seems endless. I would like to finally catch my breath, wake up with the thought that I am safe, beyond the reach of pain and disease. I cannot count on a miracle and I know that I still have a long way to go in this unequal fight. I am only asking you for financial support so that I can take advantage of all medical possibilities and not have to live in constant fear.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

Od ostatniej aktualizacji w mojej zbi\u00f3rce wiele si\u0119 zmieni\u0142o \u2013 niestety na gorsze. Fizycznie czuj\u0119 si\u0119 bardzo \u017ale. Jestem bardzo os\u0142abiony, mam trudno\u015bci z m\u00f3wieniem, poruszam si\u0119 wy\u0142\u0105cznie na w\u00f3zku inwalidzkim, w czym pomaga mi moja \u017cona, kt\u00f3ra jest moim jedynym opiekunem. Nie mamy dzieci, a jedynym \u017ar\u00f3d\u0142em naszego utrzymania jest zasi\u0142ek w wysoko\u015bci 1200 z\u0142 miesi\u0119cznie.<\/p>\r\n

M\u00f3j stan zdrowia uleg\u0142 powa\u017cnemu pogorszeniu po usuni\u0119ciu lewej nerki. Pojawi\u0142 si\u0119 nowotw\u00f3r z\u0142o\u015bliwy uk\u0142adu oddechowego i pokarmowego,<\/strong> a tak\u017ce przerzuty do ko\u015bci<\/strong>. Dni sp\u0119dzam g\u0142\u00f3wnie w \u0142\u00f3\u017cku, bo choroba nie pozwala mi d\u0142ugo siedzie\u0107. W ostatnim czasie konieczne by\u0142o r\u00f3wnie\u017c \u015bci\u0105ganie wody z p\u0142uc.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Przechodz\u0119 hormonoterapi\u0119<\/strong> \u2013 zastrzyk co sze\u015b\u0107 miesi\u0119cy z powodu raka prostaty<\/strong> \u2013 i mimo \u017ce reaguj\u0119 na leczenie nie\u017ale, to g\u0142\u00f3wnie dlatego, \u017ce z b\u00f3lem po prostu nauczy\u0142em si\u0119 \u017cy\u0107. Rehabilitacja w obecnym stanie jest dla mnie prawie niemo\u017cliwa i na razie jej nie prowadz\u0119.<\/p>\r\n

W domu korzystam z wypo\u017cyczonego koncentratora tlenu<\/strong>, co generuje bardzo du\u017ce koszty \u2013 zar\u00f3wno samego wypo\u017cyczenia, jak i rachunk\u00f3w za pr\u0105d. Ogromnym obci\u0105\u017ceniem s\u0105 tak\u017ce leki i \u015brodki piel\u0119gnacyjne, kt\u00f3rych potrzebuj\u0119 na co dzie\u0144.<\/p>\r\n

Psychicznie bywa r\u00f3\u017cnie, ale najwi\u0119ksz\u0105 si\u0142\u0105 i rado\u015bci\u0105 jest dla mnie moja \u017cona, kt\u00f3ra jest przy mnie 24 godziny na dob\u0119 i d\u017awiga ze mn\u0105 ka\u017cdy dzie\u0144 tej choroby.<\/p>\r\n

Chcia\u0142bym z ca\u0142ego serca podzi\u0119kowa\u0107 za ka\u017cd\u0105 wp\u0142at\u0119, ka\u017cde udost\u0119pnienie i ka\u017cde s\u0142owo wsparcia. To dzi\u0119ki Wam mog\u0119 walczy\u0107 dalej i nie poddawa\u0107 si\u0119 mimo ci\u0105gle post\u0119puj\u0105cej choroby.<\/p>\r\n
