On Friday, January 5, 2024, Mom began experiencing paralysis on the left side of her body. It became clear that urgent hospitalization and diagnostics were necessary. Thanks to rapid neurosurgical intervention and the excision of the lesion, which turned out to be a metastatic tumor, as well as systematic and persistent rehabilitation, Mom began to recover.<\/span><\/p>\n

We had to wait seven weeks for an accurate diagnosis. At that time, Mom was struggling to stay physically fit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It turned out to be the cause <\/span>lung cancer with metastases, stage IV, <\/strong>unfortunately, without the possibility of targeted therapy.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of May, Mom underwent her first chemotherapy treatment. After her second chemotherapy treatment, she decided to undergo additional, non-reimbursed therapy to strengthen her body, helping her combat side effects and giving her strength and determination to fight.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our mother recognizes the impact of the disease on the entire family. Her dream is to be able to work as long as possible in a profession she loves. She wants to stay in the best shape possible for herself, her children, and her grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n

After completing chemotherapy and successful radiotherapy, Mom is undergoing rehabilitation and taking supplements to support her body. She would like to be able to continue her rehabilitation exercises regularly under the supervision of a specialist.<\/span><\/p>\n

We believe that with your help we will be able to ensure that Mom gets through the most demanding stage of her life with dignity.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
