In February 2023, I had a biopsy done and unfortunately my breast lump turned out to be malignant.
The diagnosis was triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). I was convinced it was just a routine examination,
that I already had. My initial shock was even greater when I heard the diagnosis.
I have been undergoing treatment since March 2023.<\/p>\n
Currently, I have undergone 12 chemotherapy treatments. The treatment plan assumes 16 chemotherapy treatments, surgery\u2026 later
We'll see. I am under the care of wonderful doctors whom I trust. For what it is very much
thankful.<\/p>\n
Additionally, I use immunotherapy, which is crucial because it improves my prognosis.
Immunotherapy equalizes the chances of complete recovery for patients with triple-negative breast cancer
myself. I'm sticking to it and I believe that my cancer can be cured completely.<\/p>\n
Throughout the entire treatment cycle, I should take immunotherapy, which is not reimbursed and is
very expensive. I need help to increase my chances of recovery. I'm in
the moment I need support to continue using immunotherapy. That's why I'm asking
support me financially. I still have a lot of dreams and a lot to do in this life :)<\/p>\n
For example, I have been interested in microscopic photography for over a year. In the photo you see me and
a photo of my cancer cells that I took myself. I'm working on a project that will be
it was about my experiences with illness. I believe that this project will help many oncologists
patients. Additionally, at the time of diagnosis (February 2023), I had already finished a semester of studies
postgraduate studies in "Psychooncology" at SWPS. I went to these studies because I wanted to complete my studies
knowledge, have a broader view and understanding of oncology, also from the patient's perspective. (Be careful about what
you're asking!) I hope that I will be able to use my knowledge and experience in this area.<\/p>\n
My biggest dream is to get back to normal. The one defined over the last few months
anew, that is: laughing more, creating, going for walks in the forest and being able to plan your future life.
Especially the latter is currently difficult due to the disease, treatment and side effects
chemotherapy. The vision of being healthy and enjoying life again motivates me to take care of myself, heal and maintain a positive attitude towards this challenge.<\/p>\n
