Hello, my name is Weronika, I am 17 years old and I live in Warsaw. I study at high school. Jan \u015aniadecki. Like everyone, I have my passions - I like reading, watching movies and TV series, I love animals. Like everyone else, I also have my goals and dreams - I would like to pass my high school exams, finish my studies - just live like a normal teenager.<\/p>\n
Currently, the time I should be spending on learning and having fun is spent on treatment. I miss my old life, the time when my biggest concern was school.<\/p>\n
In March, I got sick with covid-19. After the symptoms of the disease disappeared, I began to suffer from constant fatigue and reduced efficiency. I was sent for basic tests. The tests showed large changes in the chest area, so serious that I was immediately admitted to hospital. The biopsy results were devastating and completely disrupted my everyday life - malignant tumor (chondrosarcoma).<\/strong><\/p>\n My treatment involves surgery, after which it will be necessary to administer a very expensive drug that is not reimbursed by the National Health Fund. This is my real chance for health, living my youth carefree, and cutting myself off from experiences that should not be part of a teenager's life.
