I have always been an optimistic person with a positive attitude to life. I drew good energy from meetings with my loved ones and from my favorite activities. I lived a busy life and my days were filled to the brim with tasks. These qualities helped me greatly when I was diagnosed in early 2020 <strong>breast cancer<\/strong>. I approached the disease as a challenge - I treated it as a task to be completed. It was also a lesson that made me look at my life, reevaluate certain issues and make changes. Throughout the entire treatment period, I believed that this was just a phase in my life. Although there were worse moments, thanks to the enormous support from family, friends and sometimes even complete strangers, I was able to quickly return to the path of optimism.<\/p>\n<p>Zawsze bardzo dba\u0142am o profilaktyk\u0119 i regularnie wykonywa\u0142am r\u00f3\u017cnego rodzaju badania. W lipcu 2019 roku podczas kontrolnego USG piersi wykryto u mnie torbiel. Jedynym zaleceniem lekarza by\u0142a kontrola za rok. Torbiel jednak sukcesywnie si\u0119 powi\u0119ksza\u0142a, dlatego nie czekaj\u0105c kolejnego roku, postanowi\u0142am powt\u00f3rzy\u0107 badanie i skonsultowa\u0107 wynik z innym lekarzem. Mimo \u017ce ani USG, ani biopsja cienkoig\u0142owa nie wskazywa\u0142y na zmiany nowotworowe, lekarz zaleci\u0142 wyci\u0119cie torbieli. Prawdopodobnie decyzja o jej wyci\u0119ciu okaza\u0142a si\u0119 dla mnie zbawienna, poniewa\u017c badanie histopatologiczne wykaza\u0142o, \u017ce w torbieli rozwija\u0142 si\u0119 rak potr\u00f3jnie ujemny, kt\u00f3ry charakteryzuje si\u0119 bardzo agresywnym przebiegiem. Ponadto, badanie genetyczne wykaza\u0142o, \u017ce jestem obci\u0105\u017cona mutacj\u0105 BRCA1. Pocz\u0105tkowo zbagatelizowa\u0142am si\u0142\u0119 przeciwnika i po kilku miesi\u0105cach od operacji pojawi\u0142a si\u0119 wznowa w tej samej piersi. Niezb\u0119dne okaza\u0142o si\u0119 podj\u0119cie zdecydowanych krok\u00f3w. Pierwszym z nich by\u0142a mastektomia, kolejnymi dwa rodzaje chemioterapii \u2013 \u0142\u0105cznie 8 cykli. Przez ca\u0142y ten okres wspiera\u0142am organizm \u015brodkami uzupe\u0142niaj\u0105cymi \u2013 r\u00f3\u017cnego rodzaju suplementami, witaminami \u2013 co pomaga\u0142o w odbudowie odporno\u015bci oraz \u0142agodzi\u0142o skutki uboczne chemioterapii. Przede mn\u0105 ostatni krok: radioterapia.<\/p>\n<p>Intensive treatment allowed the cancer to be stopped, but at the moment it is extremely important to strengthen the body through non-reimbursed immune therapy, which involves high costs. For the last two years I have been trying to cover the costs from my own funds, but they are starting to exceed my capabilities. I will be extremely grateful for any help that will allow me to regain my full strength.<\/p>\n<p>Talking publicly about my problems is something that I find extremely difficult. Regularnie wykonuj\u0119 te\u017c nierefundowane badania pozwalaj\u0105ce okre\u015bli\u0107 ilo\u015b\u0107 kom\u00f3rek nowotworowych kr\u0105\u017c\u0105cych we krwi \u2013 dzi\u0119ki temu mog\u0119 odpowiednio zadzia\u0142a\u0107 prewencyjnie, aby utrzyma\u0107 nowotw\u00f3r w ryzach.
